Police have registered a case under sections 147, 149, 186, 188, 332, 353 and section 3 of PDPP. Earlier in the day, 700 people were detained in riots between police and wrestlers. 109 people, including the protesting wrestlers, were detained at Jantar Mantar.

Silence spread at Jantar Mantar as soon as the evening fell

Women protesters were released late in the evening and those detained, including male wrestlers, late in the night. The Deputy Commissioners of Police of the districts of Delhi adjoining the borders of Outer Delhi told that no one has been detained here. At the same time, some people who tried to forcibly enter Ghazipur border were detained. However, Khap supporters coming to Jantar Mantar in support of wrestlers were already detained at some borders of Haryana.
